Come and see us...

Set among the beautiful scenery of western Cornwall, Pengersick Castle has the advantage of being easy to get to, despite being hidden away. The following directions should get you to us safely. If you have any problems along your journey, please call us on 01736 763973.

FROM THE EAST

From M5 take the A38 to Plymouth.

Go over Tamar Bridge and follow the A38 towards Liskeard.

Merge onto A30 signed for Redruth/Newquay.

Continue on A30 for approximately 40 miles until Newton Lane roundabout. Take first exit onto A394.

After approximately 3 miles, turn right into Pengersick Lane (signposted ‘Praa Sands’ and ‘Pengersick’).

Continue ½ mile before reaching Pengersick Castle on your right.

FROM THE WEST

Head towards the A394, just east of Penzance.

Continue approximately 3 miles before turning right into Pengersick Lane (signposted ‘Praa Sands’ and ‘Pengersick’).

Continue ½ mile before reaching Pengersick Castle on your right.

If your guests are planning to stay overnight, there is plenty of accommodation in the local area. There’s a wide choice of hotels and guest houses as well as several bed & breakfast venues that are really close to Pengersick Castle itself.

Being in such a wonderful location means we’re within easy reach of some of Cornwall’s top locations and attractions. Closeby is the town of Helston (6 miles), situated along the banks of the River Cober and also the UK’s most westerly major town of Penzance (8 miles). But we’re also spoilt in having some of Cornwall’s most famous areas nearby too.

To the west is the picturesque fishing village of Mousehole (13 miles), Land’s End (18 miles) and St. Michael’s Mount (5 miles). To the east lies the stunning Lizard Heritage coast (18 miles) and Flambards theme park (6 miles).

The Cornish county town of Truro (25 miles), and Devon’s cities of Plymouth (80 miles) and Exeter (115 miles) are also easy to find if you’re staying in the area for any length of time and wish to explore further afield.
